Scorpio New Moon is a retraction of tentacles reached out searching into the murky darkness. The essence sensed in extension from the unknowable vastness pulls in close now, curled up to the core within, savored and studied and scrutinized. Communicating what has been cast, seen beyond language, expression is transformed into ritual, ceremony drawn from the symbolic.

So the sensory tendrils are antennae roots gathering, sourcing from depths nourishment, knowing, ciphered mysteries. Spoken under the water, next to the places hidden beneath the hidden, we hear the garbled dissonance of voice dissolved in sound without discernible meaning. We listen. We soak it in. We let it wash over and swirl away, pulled by ancient currents to new realms. It will make sense there.

For now, though, Scorpio amalgamates the synesthesia of our swimming through liquid words, regenerating cognition in otherworldly dimensions distorted in our sea glass eyes. We turn to our guides, to Scorpio, who in turn point to inner resolve, remind us of the power of our intuitive sextant in navigating a mirrored cosmos of the ocean womb cradled in the abyssal plain.

How do we find our pathway, what is our anchor in a reference-less, un-tethered space of buoyancy?

The retraction, constriction in response, is un-doing of expansion outward. It is a folding, furling, contracting, an expansion inward. Deep and vast as any quest, an odyssey of the inner world in which we have been cast, like runes capturing random purposeful combinations, to wash ashore in some future.

So tuck in little urchins. The tides will ebb and flow all around. In all, we learn to observe the central organizing principle within ourselves, within which we orient and know our course is found in venturing through spirals and eddies and the motion of fluids and physics. The abyssal plain holds us too, and we can sink our roots and ground for a moment even as we are tumbled about. This traveling requires agility and gaining and regaining our bearings.

Scorpio gives passage, the keeper of the way between, yet we must lead the way.
